Introduces biological bases of behavior. Includes ethology and comparative behavior, psychobiological development, physiological and sensory mechanisms of behavior, and evolution and behavioral genetics. Presents basic structural and functional properties of the nervous system. Prerequisite: 3 hours of psychology. 4 hours of biology recommended. (3 hrs lec)
