ELAP 1545 - Electrical Apprenticeship IV

Provides the second-year electrical apprentice with necessary skills and knowledge to ensure safe and efficient work practices on the job. Topics include wiring methods, branch and feeder circuits, motor calculations, transformer sizing, and applications of the National Electrical Code. Fourth course in a series of eight. Prerequisites: ELAP 1535 , status as a second-year Electrical Apprentice with an Independent Electrical Contractor and registration with the State of Wyoming Electrical Board of the Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety as an apprentice electrician.
