Students learn professional standards that apply to all health care workers in the general Allied Health field and their role in that environment. Topics include the key elements of professionalism, health care industry standards, work ethic and performance, personal traits of healthcare professionals, communication skills, cultural competence, and preparing for employment and professional development.
