Students will expand their comprehension of maternal child practical nursing care through theory and clinical experience. With assistance, the student will demonstrate the understanding of becoming a provider of care, a member within the discipline, and coordinator of care for the childbearing family within the guidelines of an individualized plan of care. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Semester I of the Nursing Program. Corequisites: NRST 1735 and NRST 1745 (3 hrs lec, 3 hr clinical)
