Students learn to safely employ a horse’s special therapeutic gifts to promote a client’s learning and desired therapeutic outcome. Students learn to design safe and effective activities for a range of participants with mental or learning issues choosing the appropriate activity and the appropriate horse for each individual type of client. Prerequisite: EQST 2425. (1 hr lec, 4 hrs lab)
