Students learn essential biological principles that are important for achieving sound scientific reasoning and methodology. Students study the following topics: cell biology, physiology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and the interactions of humans with their environment. All topics are considered within the context of the human experience. This course will fulfill the Physical and Natural World General Education Requirement for AAS students only. (3 credits lecture)
