A continuation and expansion of ART 1005. Emphasis placed on continued development of strength in observational skills and visual thinking abilities. Stress placed on expanded approaches to drawing through incorporation of design concepts, exploration of a broad range of ideas, and experimentation with a variety of media. Prerequisite: ART 1005. (2 hrs lec, 4 hrs lab)
