SOC 2350 - Race and Ethnic Relations(3) This course examines social relations among majority and minority groups by devoting particular attention to race and ethnic relations in the U.S. It incorporates social science and neuroscience approaches to this topic, which emphasize socialization, perception, adaptation, and power structures historically and today. It devotes attention to social psychological issues such as prejudice, and social structural issues such as class inequality. Prerequisite: take a 3 credit course in ANTH, CRMJ, GNDR, HIST, POLS, PSYC or SOC.
