SOC 2400 - Criminology(3) Introduction to the field of criminology describing the nature and extent of crime in the United States. Topics include theories on crime causation, classifications of crime, collection of crime statistics, and the Criminal Justice System’s response to controlling crime. Credit cannot be earned in both SOC 2400 and CRMJ 2400.
Prerequisite: SOC 1000 . (3 hrs lec)
