CRMJ 3400 - Deviant Behavior(3) This course will examine conflicting and standard definitions of deviance, how definitions change over time, major theories of deviance, and a wide range of behaviors, both criminal and non-criminal, which sociologists identify as deviant. Finally, students will explore how globalization and technology have led to the emergence of new variants of deviance in the United States and around the world.
Prerequisite: Accepted to the BAS degree and SOC 1000 . (3 hrs lec)
