This course is designed to familiarize students with snowmaking equipment, system design, and operating techniques, technology, and safety. Teaches proper grooming, packing, and slope conditioning techniques to maximize skier safety and enjoyment and utilizing minimum snowfall to provide an adequate skiing base. Various over-the-snow vehicles and their capabilities and limitations will be dealt with, including grooming implements.
