CRMJ 3500 - Drugs and the Criminal Justice System(3) Focus on drugs and their impact on society. Particular interest is paid to the extent of drug use/abuse in America, drug classifications, detection and enforcement strategies, and the effects of this problem on the criminal justice system as a whole. Strategies for controlling both supply and demand are discussed.
Prerequisite: Take CRMJ 1001, CRMJ 2210, and CRMJ 2400/SOC 2400, or instructor permission. 3 hrs lec
