Emphasis on algebraic manipulation. Covers such topics as linear and quadratic equations and inequalities; graphs and functions; polynomial, rational, and radical expressions; logarithms, and exponentials. Prerequisite: Math ACT score of 21 or 22 and/or a COMPASS score in the Algebra domain of 40 to 65. A grade of “C-” or better in MATH 0920 or placement at math level 2 within one year prior to enrollment. (4 hrs lec)
