OEPR 2110 - NOLS Rocky Mountain Outdoor Education(4) The NOLS Rocky Mountain Outdoor Education course prepares graduates to demonstrate safe, competent, responsible, and ethical outdoor leadership skills. These skills include outdoor teaching techniques, wilderness camping and travel, safety management planning, expedition behavior modeling, providing effective oral and written feedback, and expedition planning. This course is taught by National Outdoor Leadership faculty and requires 21 continuous days in the field. Students must register both at Northwest College and at the National Outdoor Leadership School in Lander. This course is not approved as a wellness credit. (2 hrs lec, 4 hrs lab)
