The Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwest College (NWC) provides a solid foundation in the principles and skills of Professional Nursing for students planning to practice as a Registered Nurse. The five-semester program utilizes theory, laboratory, simulation, and clinical learning experiences to prepare the successful graduate as a competent nurse who provides effective, safe, and appropriate nursing care to diverse populations in a variety of health care delivery settings.
There are additional admission and application requirements above and beyond those for general college admission. Successful completion of the five-semester program of study leads to an Associate Degree in Nursing and eligibility to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX RN).
