Graphic designers combine art and technology to communicate ideas in visual form. Designers must demonstrate aptitude in creative, analytical, and technical areas.

The Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design is a two-year technical program that prepares students for entry-level employment in a variety of specialized design services such as publishing, prepress, and printing.

Coursework in the Associate of Applied Science Degree focuses on developing an understanding of printing and prepress issues, gaining production skills for web and print media, as well as the study of art and design foundations.

Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and the Adobe Creative Cloud software, students enhance their conceptual thinking and gain technical proficiency in electronic layout, pre-press, and offset printing.

The Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design has three concentration options: graphics production, prepress production, and print production.
