The Northwest College Art Department offers a sequence of foundation courses and electives designed to build strong skills for work in the two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and graphic design areas. Upon completion of these foundation courses, along with the general college requirements for graduation, a student may transfer to a four-year college or university, or seek employment with the confidence that comes from sound preparation.

Although the foundation courses are planned with the art program in mind, any student interested in expanding their understanding and enjoyment of art may enroll.
