Northwest College no longer offers a stand-alone LPN certificate program. However, students interested in obtaining their LPN licensure may do so by applying to the Associated Degree Nursing (RN) program. Students must meet the application criteria for the RN program, be accepted, and complete the first two semesters of the RN program satisfactorily (C or above). Once the first two semesters of the RN program are completed, the student is eligible to sit for the NLCEX-PN exam. If successful on the NCLEX-PN exam, the individual will be eligible for LPN licensure and practice as an LPN in Wyoming. For licensure in other states, please see the appropriate state regulatory agency website for more information.
