AVTN 2710 - Commercial Pilot Ground - Part II

Students will develop the aeronautical knowledge required for the Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and instrument rating. Topics of study include Multi Engine regulations, aerodynamics, meteorology, aircraft performance, aircraft limitations, pilotage, dead reckoning, navigation aids, aeronautical decision making, aircraft systems, night and high altitude operations, commercial maneuvers and aircraft procedures.  Students will research opportunities within the aviation industry that are aligned with their interest.  An oral presentation will be prepared and delivered to peers.  The course will consist of approximately 35 hours of instruction. Prerequisite: Commercial Pilot Certificate or consent of instructor and successful completion of at least 30 credit hours. (3 hrs lec)
