HIST 2290 - North American Indians(3) Presents the history of North American Indians starting with the pre-Columbian era and tracing developments through the Colonial Period, the revolutionary independence struggles, and the problems of native people under national regimes through the 19th and 20th centuries. Special emphasis on the experiences of Indians in the United States and Canada, including cultures of the eastern woodlands, plains, Rocky Mountain and Pacific areas, and the Arctic. (3 hrs lec)
