MATH 0993 - College Algebra Corequisite(2) This course is taken as a corequisite to Math 1400, College Algebra, and is not a standalone course. Emphasis will be on the necessary Intermediate Algebra skills needed to be successful in Math 1400. Topics covered include linear and quadratic equations, rational and polynomial expressions (including factoring), and functions and graphs. Prerequisite: Math ACT score of 21 or 22, ALEKS score of 30 to 45, and/or an Accuplacer score in the Elementary Algebra domain of 55 - 84. Placement scores must have occurred within one year prior to enrollment. (2 hrs lec)
