NRST 2620 - Maternal Child Nursing I(2) Students learn to apply the nursing process in meeting the unmet needs of the child bearing family from ante-partum care through postpartum care. The focus is on normal pregnancy and delivery. Students will develop an understanding of the health promotion within the context of normal human growth and development from newborn through adolescence. Prerequisites: Successful completion of the first and second semester of the Nursing Program. Corequisites: NRST 2600 and NRST 2730 . (2 hrs lec)
