This certificate is designed to promote quality care of the horse and give the student basic riding and occupational skills. Coursework covers equine safety, health management, nutrition, equine behavior, tack fitting and basic horse safety. Students will be prepared for jobs such as boarding stables operator, riding stable help, wrangler, trail ride guide, groom, equine salesperson, breeding farm operator, and farm sitter.
