This certificate acknowledges students’ background and the skills in prepress required of those wishing to work in the area of prepress which includes but is not limited to preflight files troubleshooting, building and editing files for proper output and efficiency, adjusting images for optimal printing conditions, and assembling files for output to various output devices (e.g., imagesetters, platesetters, and wide-format printers).
